Oracle is retiring the Classic UI across all Fusion Cloud SCM modules before Update 27A. Arcturus guides your team through a phased, low-risk migration — before the deadline closes.
The Oracle Mandate
Oracle has officially announced the Redwood UX adoption timeline for all Supply Chain Management modules — with full transition required before the 27A release in April 2027.
Oracle is permanently decommissioning all Classic UI pages for SCM modules post-27A. There is no opt-out, no extension, and no rollback option after cutover.
Customers who partially enabled Redwood opt-ins in earlier releases will be automatically upgraded — whether they're ready or not. Proactive planning is essential.
Each SCM module has its own Oracle release schedule: Inventory and Cost Accounting target 25B, while Purchasing, Supplier Management, and PIM target 26B. Planning must account for each track.
Organizations starting a phased migration now have the optimal runway — 9 to 12 months per module block. Waiting until Q4 2026 compresses testing, training, and UAT into an unacceptably high-risk window.
What We Deliver
From initial readiness assessment through hypercare and ongoing testing — Arcturus covers every phase of your SCM Redwood migration.
A structured evaluation of your current Oracle SCM environment — module coverage, personalization inventory, testing gaps, security role impacts, and a recommended migration timeline.
Full audit and migration of Page Composer customizations, VBCS extensions, flexfields, and custom UI components — ensuring continuity from Classic to Redwood.
Remapping and validating all BPM workflows, approval rules, and notification templates to function correctly within the Redwood rendering engine.
Testing and remediation of OTBI dashboards, BI Publisher reports, REST APIs, and FBDI integrations against Redwood data structures before production cutover.
Structured user acceptance testing with business super users, plus end-user training programs tailored for warehouse teams, buyers, planners, and schedulers.
After migration, Arcturus provides ongoing monthly patch testing and quarterly upgrade validation — so every Oracle update is validated before it hits production.
Our Approach
A proven, repeatable process refined across multiple enterprise Oracle SCM Redwood migrations — structured to minimize risk and maximize confidence at every phase.
Establish scope, baseline the current environment, and define the migration path before a single page is enabled.
Enable Redwood pages in non-production, migrate all customizations, and run full functional and integration testing cycles.
Live walkthroughs with business super users in the Redwood environment, alongside system integration testing.
Business-led testing with real scenarios, defect logging, and retesting — culminating in a formal UAT sign-off and Go/No-Go decision.
Production migration, go-live validation, and dedicated post-go-live support to catch and resolve any issues before they impact the business.
Module Coverage
Arcturus covers the full Oracle Fusion SCM suite — delivering each module migration as a structured 12-week track, sequenced to align with Oracle's release cadence.
Shopping cart & approval flow migrated. Enhancement and optimization services available.
Transactions, on-hand, transfers, and receiving pages. High complexity — recommend early start.
Period close, cost distributions, and receipt accounting pages. Finance-critical migration track.
PO creation, approvals & agreements. Includes buyer workbench and supplier-facing notifications.
Supplier records, qualifications, and compliance. Requires security role redesign for external access.
External registration page enabled. All other portal pages remain on Classic — full migration needed in 26B.
Item management, item structures, and catalogue pages. Impacts downstream Inventory and Order Management.
Create & Manage Negotiation, Evaluate and Award, Respond to Seller Auctions, Procurement Contracts Authoring and Approval
